In accordance with Section 104.10 of the Construction Codes (Title 12 of the District of Columbia Municipal Regulations (DCMR)), I hereby request approval of the proposed modification of the following section(s) of the Construction Codes as applied to the above-referenced project/permit. YES THE PEDESTRIAN WALKWAY IS USED FOR CIRCULATION BETWEEN BUILDINGS AS WELL AS STORM MANAGEMENT CREATING THE NEED FOR EXTENSIVE LANDSCAPING. 2) Is the requested modification is in compliance with the intent and purpose of the Construction Codes? YES THE CODE MODIFICATION RECOGNIZES THAT THE INTENT FOR THE LIMITED WIDTH IS TO PROHIBIT USE OF THE PEDESTRIAN WALKWAY AS AN OCCUPIED SPACE. THE ACTUAL WITH USED FOR CIRCULATION IS LIMITED TO 30 FEET OR LESS.
