Description
We propose to perform a total of 6 soil borings using a geotechnical drill rig, which utilizes 3.25-inch hollow stem augers. 3 borings will be advanced to depths of 40 feet below ground surface, and 3 borings will be advanced to 80 feet below ground surface. Upon completion, 2 borings will be converted into temporary groundwater monitoring wells and the remaining 4 borings will be backfilled with bentonite slurry in accordance with DOEE requirements.
