AECOM, environmental consultant for PEPCO, plans to install 12 soil borings at the subject property. The borings are developed for temporary installation of piezometers with purposes of collecting data regarding groundwater levels and flow directions and collecting soil and groundwater samples for chemical analysis. The borings will be to a maximum of 65 ft bgs and will be installed by Geoprobe drill rig. Soil boring diameters will be between three and four inches.
