A new 386,000-square foot cold storage facility is under construction in Auburndale, Florida. The facility will offer -20°F – 50°F convertible freezers totaling 287,629 square feet. Additional features include 63,024 square foot 36°F cold dock, two 2-Story offices totaling 29,300 square feet, a 13,750 square foot mezzanine, 8,557 square foot dry warehouse, Insulated Metal Panel (IMP) Construction, 8″ steel fiber reinforced floor slab for freezer, 7″ steel fiber reinforced floor slab for cold dock & dry storage, 50′ clear height, 44 dock positions, one drive-in ramp, 4,000 Amp & 3,500 Amp electrical services, central ammonia refrigeration system with rooftop penthouse units. The facility is situated along the I-4 corridor between Tampa and Orlando and is within 200 miles from the Port of Jacksonville. Construction is scheduled to be completed in the first quarter of 2025.
