Test is from May 14 to May 16. Water samples will be collected from 3 of the docks. Work consists of: a). Application of a 25ppm Xtreme formula in water to the canal from a portable sprayer in a John Deere Gator utility vehicle from north side of canal. b) Collection of water samples from each of three docks twice on 5/14, and once on 5/15 and 5/16, with control samples taken at Mote Bay dock. c) Simultaneous monitoring of ambient water quality from the docks. Samples will be taken to Mote Marine Laboratory for processing and analysis. (see attached images of canal and sampling sites). No construction, excavation, runoff or turbidity is involved.
