The Canopy West River, a new mixed-use community in West Tampa, will add 377 residential units along with 4,490 square feet of retail space in Phase One. Phase Two will add 188 residential units. Comprised of four towers, the community will offer a combination of affordable, mixed-income and workforce housing. Amenities include a fitness center, business center, and parking garage which will provide 307 spaces. Canopy West River is part of the City of Tampa’s West River Redevelopment. The West River neighborhood includes approximately 150 acres of land along the western banks of the Hillsborough River and spans from Downtown Tampa to Tampa Heights. The redevelopment plan includes housing, retail, office space surrounding parks and walkways along the Hillsborough River. Completion of Phase One is expected in 2024.
