A permit for the amount of was issued on 04/23/24 to Ownership.

Permit Details: Kroger #298 This scope is for the installation of fail-safe push through non-locking Pedestrian Gates and Railings, for the purpose of product loss prevention, accomplished by means of visual deterrence and encouraged routes of entrance and free egress. * The proposed Pedestrian Gates are treated as doors, and Railings are treated as walls per international building code, and do not adversely impede egress. * Both arms can be pushed open at the same time for emergency exiting. * When one of the two gates at an exit is forced to open in the egress direction, the second gate will then also open simultaneously. * Not more than five pounds of pressure releases gates to swing inward or outward during emergency operation as required. * ADA compliant access in path of egress inside with clearance as illustrated. * 120vac tapped from existing circuits shall be run in separate raceways or in separate compartments of a common raceway for pedestrian security pedestals. * This installation will be compliant with building and life safety codes as adopted and amended by Authority Having Jurisdiction. Gates are capable of interface with fire alarm systems to automatically swing open upon alarm. If required, fire alarm system interface would be performed by others. If required, automatic and/or manual activation of the fire alarm system and/or activation of the fire sprinkler system will cause the pedestrian push through gates to automatically open in the direction of egress. AC power loss will cause gates to swing freely in either direction. Fire alarm system integration to be performed by others.
