The Brookline High School Expansion Project was initiated in anticipation of rapid enrollment growth expected for the school system in coming years. The beginnings of this project were lead by the School Committee, School Department, and Board of Selectmen. Brookline residents voted for a debt exclusion override to fund the expansion and renovations of Brookline High School in May of 2018. Design development for the project was completed in February of this year, and demolition of the property on Cypress Street and the current STEM building is set to begin this Summer 2019 and be completed by Summer of 2021.
