Mixed-income residential apartment complex featuring 86 residences, 55 of which (64%) are designated affordable, across nine mid and low-rise buildings. Auburn Court is located within MIT’s award-winning University Park campus, convenient to Central and Kendall Squares, educational institutions and public transit. Residences at Auburn Court include 17 one-bedrooms, 46 two-bedrooms and 23 three-bedrooms.

A $12.1 million upgrade and expansion to Auburn Court, originally constructed in 1995, was completed in Fall 2017. The complex’s original 77 units were fully renovated, and nine additional apartments were built. Eight new units are housed in a new-construction four-story, LEED Platinum, wood-framed building featuring amenities such as wood flooring, ceramic tile bathroom finishes and a solar hot water heating and air conditioning system. One unit was converted from an existing office space.

Renovated residences at Auburn Court feature upgraded kitchens, bathrooms, heating and air conditioning systems and electrical utilities. All existing buildings received new windows, added thermal insulation in exterior walls, new fiber cement siding and new PVC trim throughout.
