Two upcoming office and laboratory buildings totaling approximately 915,000 square feet located at the 43-acre Cambridge Crossing mixed-use development located in Cambridge, Somerville, and Boston have begun construction.
Parcel G will be a 12-story, 220-foot-tall office and laboratory building containing 510,000 square feet. The Parcel G building will feature approximately 406 internal parking spaces and approximately 136 long-term and 28 short-term bicycle parking spaces on site. Adjacent to Parcel G to the west will be activated open and green space referred to as “Baldwin North." The architect of the Parcel G building is Perkins + Will.
Parcel H will be a 9-story, 150-foot-tall office building containing approximately 405,000 square feet. The Parcel H building will feature approximately 440 internal parking spaces and 105 long-term and 21 short-term bicycle parking spaces on site. The architect of the Parcel H building is NBBJ.
The transit-oriented project site is located steps from the Lechmere MBTA Green Line and Community College MBTA Orange Line public transit stations, and minutes from Interstate 93 by car. Both buildings will be located on the northeastern edge of the CX site in close proximity to the Gilmore Bridge and are convenient to Kendall Square and Downtown Boston.
