Real estate developer Cifrino Mass Ave Realty, LLC proposes building a 5-story addition above an existing retail structure on Massachusetts Avenue in Central Square.
The project would rehab the existing 54,719 SF building and add an additional 38,544 SF of space across 5 floors, bringing the total SFA to 93,263 square-feet. A total of 46 residential units will be created from the project.
600 Massachusetts Avenue is located in a desirable spot in Central Square, and is within walking distance of the Central Square MBTA Red Line station. The project is located .03 miles from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the MIT Museum, and is one MBTA stop away from the Harvard Square and Kendall Square subway stations.
The project design has been LEED certified for a multifamily mid-rise structure.
