The project is part of a larger project, between Howard County, Anne Arundel County, and Baltimore County. The total proposed LOD for the project in Anne Arundel County is 6.85 acres. The fiber will be installed by two different methods through the project: open trench and horizonal directional drilling (HDD). No grading or impervious area is proposed as part of this project. Perimeter controls are proposed at all entry and exit pits. All boring equipment and work areas will be located within upland areas with perimeter controls to minimize impacts to surrounding sensitive areas. Excavated material will be temporarily stockpiled within perimeter control limits before being hauled off site for disposal. Stabilized construction entrances are proposed where vehicular equipment exits onto public roads or private roads. Same day stabilization techniques will be used where open cut trench is proposed. As work is completed, seed, stabilization, and tack are to be placed per state stabilization requirements.
