L.L. Bean has won approval for plans to modernize and expand their Freeport, ME headquarters to meet current demands the company faces. Plans call for a 400,000 SF expansion of their existing office campus adding a second floor to the complex. Campus features include a 900-seat auditorium, a new baseball field, and the reengineering of the Concord Gully Brook into a nature preserve and trail. 

The project is expected to be completed in spring 2023.
