There is currently a tandem garage. We will add a wall and door to separate the garage and create a recreational room. Wall Details: - 2x4 studs with 24 inch spacing. - R-13 Kraft Faced Fiberglass Insulation Batt 15 in. x 93 in. Attachment details: Floor Stud will be attached using concrete nails into the concrete floor. Northernmost stud of the wall will be secured into the existing wall stud via #8 construction screws on wall stud, Southernmost stud will be secured into the concrete wall via concrete screws. Top stud will be secured via #8 screws into the existing ceiling studs. All joints will be supported by Stud Shoes in addition to studs being secured to each other with Construction screws.
