300+ Unit 40B Project Proposed Along Crafts St. in Newton
Boylston Properties has proposed a 40B project on a roughly 4.76-acre site at 78 Crafts Street in Newton. Existing buildings on the site are currently occupied with various automotive services, a mechanical engineering and contracting operation, and a two-family residence. Plans call for 5 multifamily buildings to include 307 mixed-income apartments. The buildings are designed to create a “village-like” environment. Community amenities, which will be available to all residents, will include a state-of-the-art fitness center, well-appointed community area/coworking space, outdoor amenity space, courtyard with BBQ and grilling areas, and a dog park.
