Building Permit Issued for Emerson Renovations at 171 Tremont Street
A building permit has been issued for Emerson's renovations of 171 Tremont Street across from the Boston Common. The full interior renovation will include new partitions, ceilings, and finishes. The renovated building will house a student center with a cultural and spiritual center and health services.
Emerson purchased the property in November 2017 for $24 million after plans for the "Skinny Tower" were scrapped.
