Construction Update: Hampden House
The Hampden House project in downtown Bethesda is back to grade after six months of excavation and four months of below-grade concrete work. The upcoming 25-story, mixed-use tower will feature 366 residential units. To support excavation Clark Construction completed 105 drilled soldier piles, 34,050 square feet of wood lagging, 150 external tiebacks, and 450 tons of internal bracing steel to make up the four tiers of supports for the soldier beams.
