Dayton Industrial Warehouse Acquired for $43.56M
A Class-A industrial warehouse at 6 Wheeling Road in Dayton, NJ has just been acquired for $43.56 million. Previously owned by pharmaceutical manufacturer, Aurobindo Pharma USA, it was scooped up by industrial property investment titan, CenterPoint Properties. The warehouse structure totals 198,000 square feet and has an interior clearance height of 30-feet. It also features a drive-in door, and 4-loading docks, capable of handling full tractor-trailer setups.
The building's footprint takes up less than 25% of the lot, which spans roughly 14 acres, or over 600,000 square feet. The property also provides parking for up to 342 vehicles, with some spaces directly outside the warehouse, and the rest located on a paved 2-acre lot at the other end of the parcel. As far as industrial warehouses are concerned, 6 Wheeling Road is a fairly young facility, having been constructed in 2010. Based on its age, and proven functional uses, CenterPoint Properties likely doesn't have any plans to redevelop the building in the near future.
