Developer Looking to Secure Retail Tenants for New Mixed-Use Development in St. Petersburg
Developer Stoneweg is partnering with Retail Solutions Advisors to sign retail tenants for Coquina Key Plaza. The new mixed-use would replace an existing strip mall. The plans include a seven-story apartment building 465 apartments, 20% of which would be workforce housing, along with 21,000-square foot retail building in front of the apartments. The retail space will be anchored by a local grocery store and would include coffee shops and restaurants. Retail tenants could also include a salon, yoga studio, sandwich shop and pizzeria. The developer plans to begin construction by the end of 2024. The apartments will take approximately two years to build and will be constructed in phases with 328 in the first phase and 127 in the second phase. The retail building will be constructed along with the apartments in the first phase.
