Fort Greene Development Nears Final Approval
A mixed-use development proposed for 130 Saint Felix Street, in Fort Greene Brooklyn, has almost made it through the public review stage and is currently awaiting the green light. The application under review was filed by 130 St. Felix Street LLC and requests special permits, as well as both zoning map and text amendments. These will facilitate a 23 story building, developed by Gotham Companies, and designed by FXCollaborative. It will add 120 residential units to the neighborhood, and double the institutional space for the Brooklyn Music School. The application is now in Mayoral Review after being approved by the Community Board, Borough President, City Planning Commission, and City Council. The mayor will have just 5 days to approve the project, and give it the final stamp of approval.
