Fort Greene Development Receives Approval
A mixed-use development proposed for 130 Saint Felix Street, in Fort Greene Brooklyn, has finally been given the green light by the NYC Mayors Office. The application under review was filed by 130 St. Felix Street LLC and requested special permits, as well as both zoning map and text amendments. Now that this request has been approved, these permits will facilitate a story building, developed by , and designed by . It will add residential units to the neighborhood, and double the institutional space for the Brooklyn Music School. Prior to Mayoral Approval, the application had to be reviewed and approved by the Community Board, Borough President, City Planning Commission, and City Council. With the lengthy zoning process now out of the way, work can begin on 130 Saint Felix Street as soon as building permits are secured.
