Mainely Burgers to Open a Second Brick and Mortar Location at Boston Landing

NB Development Group announced the signing of Mainely Burgers as the most recent retail lease at Boston Landing.  The Mainely signing will kick off the retail leasing in the residential building, Lantera by taking 2,134 square-feet on the ground floor.

Mainely Burgers, now in its seventh year, started with a summer food truck in Maine. Since 2012, the Maine business has grown to two burger trucks and one ice cream truck, aptly named Mainely Treats. In September of 2016, the company opened its first brick and mortar restaurant in Central Square, Cambridge. Mainely Burgers is owned and operated by brothers Jack and Max Barber, 2016 and 2017 graduates of Babson College.

“Mainely Burgers at Boston Landing will be a welcome addition to our growing group of retailers.  There is a demand in this area for quick grab and go options of delicious food, and Mainely will most certainly fulfill that need,” says Erin Harvey, Senior Leasing and Marketing Manager, NB Development Group

“Jack and I are wicked excited for Mainely Burgers at Boston Landing. It feels great to join the community of like-minded companies and partner with NBDG and Graffito, who understand the value of local business. We are super stoked to share our Maine roots and recipes with Boston Landing.” – Max Barber, co-owner

“Mainely Burgers is a beloved local, independent, family-run restaurant in Cambridge.  They serve-up delicious comfort food in a warm and inviting atmosphere; a place everyone will enjoy.  The Graffito team is excited to welcome Mainely Burgers to Boston Landing this fall and continue to build on the strong mix of retail on site.” David Downing, Graffito SP, representing retail broker.

Boston Landing is currently marketing its second phase of retail that includes approximately 14,000 square-feet on the ground floor of the Lantera residential building and an additional 5,600 square-feet on the ground floor of 40 Guest Street, home of the Boston Celtics practice and training facility opening Summer 2018.
