MIT Submits Designs for 25 Broadway
MIT has submitted designs for 25 Broadway on parcel C1 within the Volpe site. The planned 16-story, designed by NBBJ & Dream Collaborative, will include over 12,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space with flexible lab & office space on the upper floors. This phase of the project will also deliver Third Street Park, a nearly 1-acre park that will help unlock connections to the surrounding community. Per the filing, "the design approach for 25 Broadway takes cues from both the historic and modern architectural styles in the area to create a cohesive and visually interesting street-scape that complements the existing context."
