Progress at University Approved by Sarasota City Commission
The Sarasota City Commission, by a four to one vote, granted approval for Progress at University. The proposed multi-family development that would add 280 residential units in Sarasota will move forward. Progress at University would consist of five four-story buildings. Located near Sarasota Bradenton International Airport and north of downtown Sarasota, the site was previously utilized as overflow parking for the former greyhound racing stadium. The site is vacant, so there is no need for demolition.
