Renovations to Kesher Israel Synagogue Approved
Plans have been approved for renovations to Kesher Israel Congregation's synagogue located on N St. NW. The expansion and renovation will provide the basic infrastructure, support spaces, and programmatic spaces to accommodate the needs of the congregation. The proposed renovations include spaces for families, including accessible toilet rooms, a nursing room for new mothers, a family library, and a children’s play area The project would combine the three existing historic buildings currently owned by Kesher Israel through the construction of a new addition.
