South End Office to Lab Conversion Approved
The conversion of the office building at 1000 Washington St. in the South End to life science space has been approved. The changes will primarily be interior to the building, but will also include some exterior changes as well including new efficient windows and an expanded mechanical penthouse. The project has been designed to meet LEED Gold certification with 100 percent renewable electricity & carbon offsets to achieve Zero Net Carbon goals.
