Underground parking excavation nears completion at The Hub on Causeway
Excavation of The Hub on Causeway’s 540-car underground parking garage and foundation is nearing completion. A sea of massive steel members spans across the project site, temporarily bracing the newly excavated hole immediately adjacent to the TD Garden and Causeway Street. The final underground parking structure will brace the development’s permanent foundation wall, allowing for the removal of the temporary steel bracing. Completion of Phase One of the three-phase, 1.87 million square foot development is expected in late 2018 and will include office space, retail/restaurant space and an expansion of TD Garden.
