Building 12,000 is v...*This is an extension of an additional 90 days to the previous TCO that has since expired (BLD-17-0448875-29)* Description: Building 12000 TCO On behalf of Index/Investment Group, Developer of The Pointe on Westshore, I would like to request that following the complete inspection process that covers floors 1 thru 5 in building 12,000 that the City of Tampa Building & Fire Departments issues a Temporary Certificate of Occupancy, allowing residents to live in this building. Building 12,000 is virtually the same as the other four 5 Story buildings within the community except these two buildings have a rooftop deck. It was during the inspections of these last two buildings that we learned of a few design concerns. We are manufacturing handrails, ramps, as well as additional signage and equipment so that we comply with the ADA, requirements for the Area of Refuge. We ask that due to the abovementioned hardships we propose to have a policy that will prohibit residents access or use of the rooftop plaza deck until such time as they have been passed final inspection by the City of Tampa Building and Fire Departments. We anticipate that inspection process will permit full use of the buildings no later than the end of May 2022.
