Brick Lane is a real estate development and investment firm that was established in 2010 to capitalize on the strength and expansion of the Mid-Atlantic multi-housing and condominium markets. In addition to developing mixed-use projects around the DC Metropolitan area, Brick Lane actively searches for stabilized apartment building acquisitions in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast in markets with strong, diversified economies and healthy tenant bases.

Brick Lane actively sources core, core-plus and value-add investments in prime DC locations. The investments target significant returns on capital driven by a paradigm shift in the city. Brick Lane utilizes its broad network of operators, brokers, investors and service providers to identify off-market or overlooked opportunities that generate superior risk-adjusted returns.

Brick Lane derives a competitive edge from its combination of unique skill sets and experience among the team. This includes local market knowledge, zoning expertise, construction management, institutional-quality financial modeling and reporting capabilities and national access to debt and equity capital markets. Furthermore, Nathan Gross currently offers in-house consultancy on the intricacies of the DC zoning statute and process after retiring from a 40-year career as a DC City planner and later real estate zoning and land use consultant with Arnold & Porter LLP.

 

We provide both residential and commercial leasing services to owners and tenants throughout the DC Metro Area. Our leasing agents have vast experience in marketing properties, negotiating contracts and maximizing value for our clients.

 

Brick Lane manages numerous in-house and third-party residential, commercial and mixed-use properties throughout DC, Maryland and Virginia. We provide value-oriented management services with the goal of maximizing rental revenue and minimizing expenses while implementing energy-efficient practices. The company delivers detailed accounting and management reporting, building service and repair monitoring, and excellent customer service for both owners and tenants.
