17 new condominiums proposed in Dorchester near Savin Hill rapid transit station
Developer Giuseppe Arcari, who is a stakeholder in the popular local Tavern in the Square restaurant company, proposes to construct 17 new 1, 2 and 3-bedroom condominium residences at 54 Pleasant Street in Dorchester, located a short walk from the Savin Hill rapid transit station. The proposed three-story, $7 million building would contain 17 private underground parking spaces, maximizing open space and landscape design potential. Arcari has submitted a Small Project Review Application (SPRA) for 54 Pleasant Street to the Boston Planning & Development Agency (BPDA), who is now reviewing the project.
