2.4M SF Redevelopment Planned for Carver Langston Shopping Plaza
Ashkenazy Acquisition Corporation has revealed plans for the transformation of the 8.5-acre Hechinger Mall site at 1518 Benning Road NE in DC. Plans call for 2.4 million square feet of residential and retail development, transforming the mall into a residential hub that meets the growing demand for housing in the area. Ashkenazy acquired the 40+-year-old shopping center in 2005 for $28,000,000.
