26-Story Residential Building Proposed In Brickell
A new residential building, Empire Brickell is being planned on a 1.034-acre site at 901 Southwest 3rd Avenue and 244 Southwest 9th Street in Miami. A multifamily real estate developer based in Colorado, Grand Peaks is under contract to purchase the two parcels. The building will feature 250 dwelling units, 2,452 square feet of ground-floor retail space, and 352 parking spaces. Empire Brickell also offers family-friendly apartments, with most apartment homes offering multiple bedrooms and dens. The property was once home to a smaller apartment community that featured two 3 story residential buildings and was originally built in 1962. The structures will be demolished for redevelopment.
