26-Story Tower Project Stands Topped Out in Journal Square

General contractor, , recently topped out the concrete superstructure of a 26-story residential tower, going up at 425 Summit Avenue in the Journal Square neighborhood of Jersey City. Facade installation is also underway, and around two-thirds of the main curtainwall is now in place.

Developed by , it will contain market-rate apartment units, available in studio, one, two, and three-bedroom configurations.

Tenant amenities are to include a roof terrace, a golf simulator, a pet spa, a conference center, and storage for over 200 bicycles. Plans also call for square feet of ground-floor retail space, and an enclosed parking garage with enough room for vehicles.

Designed by , the structure now stands feet tall and totals square feet. Construction is estimated to wrap up by the spring of 2024. The tower sits directly next to 413 Summit Avenue, a nearly completed, 19-story residential building, which is also being developed by .
