280 Units Planned for Eastgate Shopping Center Redevelopment
Insight Property Group has submitted plans to redevelop a 3.23-acre site on the northern portion of Eastgate Shopping Center. The new 6-story, mixed-use building would include up to 280 new residential apartments and 11,220 SF of ground-level commercial retail use. The proposed development has also been designed to facilitate future redevelopment of the remainder of the shopping center. A new street grid, pedestrian corridors, and urban park spaces are being located for potential expansion in the future and to ultimately serve as a central open space amenity with the future build-out of the remainder of the Eastgate Shopping Center.
