$33M In Tax Incentives Approved for Oxon Hill Project
Prince George's County has approved a PILOT tax incentive projected to be worth approximately $33M to Petra Development between 2024 and 2045 for The Promise along Southern Ave. in Oxon Hill. The 4 phase project would include 707 multifamily units, 134 senior living units, and 31,000 SF retail space. Strategic commercial amenities include grocery, retail & daycare along a walkable community “main street” bisecting the property into two sides lined with a variety of mixed-use buildings, plazas, and parklike open spaces. The project will be built with a commitment toward sustainability, designed with net zero principles and utilizing off-site construction.
