4.2 Million Sq. Ft. Data Center Proposed on Currently Approved Residential Site

Residential Developer Stanley Martin Homes has proposed a data center development on a 269-acre site in the town of Bristow, Va in which they already have approval to build 551 new single-family houses. The proposed technology park would be roughly 4.2 million sq. ft. of data center space on the currently agricultural site.  Although Stanley Martin has not entered the digital infrastructure market, the company’s decision could be prompted by the recent approval of a similar project on an adjacent site in September of last year. Stanley Martin purchased the property in 2018 for $51.3M.
