Chesterfield approves redevelopment of Rockwood Square
Chesterfield county recently approved the rezoning proposal from Stanley Martin Homes to redevelop Rockwood Square shopping center and the neighboring Rockwood Golf Park. Developers have plans to build 322 condominiums and townhomes on the 25-acre site with two and three-bedroom living spaces. The rezoning approval allows the project to build 590 residential units but developers have plans to build less. The two-over-two condos are expected to range from 1,500 square feet to 2,500 square feet. The three-bedroom townhomes would be 1,500 square feet to 2,000 square feet. Demolition has still not been decided.
