$7.8M Grant Awarded to Waterplace Park Renovations in Providence
The City of Providence has won $7,800,000 from the U.S. Department of Transportation's Rebuilding American Infrastructure with Sustainability and Equity (RAISE) grant program for climate-resilient upgrades to Waterplace Park in Downcity Providence. Plans call for a permeable-surface re-build of the canal-walk system along Waterplace Park.
