Affordable Housing Lottery Kicks Off for 445 Grand Avenue

NYC Housing Connect has started an affordable housing lottery encompassing 34 units within a 9-story, mixed-use development, going up at 445 Grand Avenue in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn. Eligible applicants must earn between $55,715 and $198,250 annually, or sit within 80 to 130 percent of the area median income (AMI). Applications will be accepted either online or by mail until January 29, 2024.

Developed by Ranger Properties, and to be known as "Arris Grand", the building is set to offer rental apartments altogether.

In addition to residential units, the structure will have  square feet of ground floor retail space, a new, 4,300 square foot community center for the neighboring 7th Day Adventist Church, an enclosed parking garage with room for vehicles, and a storage area for up to 57 bikes.

Plans also call for multiple tenant amenities, including a fitness center, a rooftop swimming pool, recreation and entertainment spaces, and a laundry room. Designed by Fogarty Finger, with Titanium Construction Services serving as the general contractor, 445 Grand Avenue stands topped out at feet tall. The building will total square feet when complete.
