Bernstein Management Corporation Acquires Park Place at Petworth Metro
Bernstein Management Corporation (BMC), a regional leader in real estate management and investment, has completed the acquisition of Park Place at Petworth, a 161-unit multifamily property located at 850 Quincy Street NW in Washington, D.C for $56,700,000.
Park Place at Petworth, developed in 2009, consists of 161 one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments and townhomes featuring 9+ foot ceilings, condo-quality finishes, extensive outdoor space and expansive views of the nation’s capital. The property also includes 14,187 square feet of first floor retail and restaurant space including Subway, Wells Fargo, Dunkin Donuts, and Pantry Thai.
According to Bernstein Management Corporation CEO Josh Bernstein, “We are excited to continue our strategy of long-term investment and ownership with the acquisition of Park Place at Petworth, a property centrally located on Georgia Avenue NW, one of D.C.’s primary commuter routes, and in an established neighborhood with a thriving residential community.”
The property offers street level access to the Georgia Avenue – Petworth Metro station, underground on-site parking and close proximity to Columbia Heights, Howard University and the U Street Corridor.
