1943 Dorchester Avenue in Dorchester’s Ashmont approved for construction
The Boston Redevelopment Authority approved 1943 Dorchester Avenue in Dorchester’s Ashmont for construction at last Thursday’s board meeting. Developed by Peregrine Group of Providence, RI, the $14 million 1943 Dorchester Avenue will feature 64 residential apartments, including 42 studios, and over 2,100 square feet of retail located across from the Ashmont MBTA station. Eight apartments will be designated affordable. Construction of 1943 Dorchester Avenue could commence in 2017.
