Superstructure construction of Ashmont's 1943 Dorchester Avenue mixed-use development underway
With foundation construction complete, the five-story superstructure of 1943 Dorchester Avenue, an upcoming mixed-use development located across from the Ashmont rapid transit station in Dorchester, is underway. The building's concrete base podium, which will contain its' first floor, has been nearly fully poured. In the coming weeks, the upper four floors will be framed with wood. The $14 million 1943 Dorchester Avenue will feature 64 apartment residences and over 2,100 square feet of ground-floor retail.
