Boston Breaks Ground of City Hall Plaza Renovation
Mayor Walsh along with project team members from Shawmut Design & Construction and Sasaki broke ground on the renovation to Boston City Hall Plaza today, July 10th. The renovation will make the Plaza more sustainable and accessible while adding seating and gathering areas. The project will also include 12,000 square feet of playscapes for children and families, and 11,000 square feet of terraces for pop-up play and interactive public art.
