Carr Companies Planning 250 Unit Residential Project To Replace Old Town Office
The Carr Companies has presented a development concept plan for the redevelopment of 901 North Pitt Street in Old Town Alexandria. The 1.36-acre site is currently home to Waterman Place, a roughly 70,000 square foot office building constructed in 1982. New plans call for an 8 story mixed-use building to feature 250 residential units, 6,500 square feet of public art space, and just over 3,000 square feet of retail. The project would also include 2 levels of below-grade parking with space for 260 vehicles.
