Construction Wraps Up on Boston Children's Hospital Family Building
A certificate of occupancy has been issued to 55 Shattuck Street in the Longwood area as construction on the Boston Children's Hospital Family Building wraps up. The new state-of-the art clinical building expanded the hospital’s bed capacity by 71, from 401 beds to 472 total, and allow for the expansion of Children’s Hospital’s cardiovascular program and the establishment of a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit with individual patient rooms to support privacy.
