Demo Permits Issued for Lavish Upper East Side Mixed-Use
The NYC Department of Buildings has issued demolition permits for 21 East 65th street, which will soon be redeveloped into 760 Madison Avenue. The permits are for interior and partial exterior alterations to the 5-story landmark building, which is located next to the site. The Armani Group and SL Green Realty Corp. are partnering up on the new development, which will see a 12-story, luxury residential building. The 91,179 sqft building was designed by COOKFOX Architects, and the ground floor will contain a new flagship boutique for Giorgio Armani. The rest of the floors will contain 19 high-end condo units, spread across 66,811 sqft.
