Interior Finishing Ongoing at One Madison
With facade work complete, interior finishing is now well underway at One Madison Avenue in Manhattan's Flatiron District.
Developed by , the 27-story tower shares its base with the iconic MetLife Clock Tower and contributes an additional 530,000 square feet of office space.
Designed by , with general contractor, , overseeing the build, "One Madison" stands 404 feet tall and has grown from 860,000 to 1.4 million square feet as a result of the expansion.
In addition to office space, the expansion is adding approximately 1.2 acres of landscaped, outdoor terrace spaces. Down below, the building will receive square feet of retail and restaurant space, 12,700 square feet of private event areas, a tenant club, an artisanal market, and a fitness club, spanning 3-stories.
JLL is handling the marketing for One Madison and has already landed a deal with IBM for the lease of 5-full floors within the new tower. Construction is expected to finish in the coming months.
