Demolition Begins on South Boston Power Plant

has pulled a $30,000,000 demolition permit work begins on the South Boston Power Plant site. The mixed-use project will include the adaptive reuse of 4 historic Turbine Halls and create 860,000 square feet of commercial space, 636 units of housing, a 240 room hotel, and over 5 acres of new public open space.
