Demolition Permit Filed for Site of Student Housing Development
A contractor has filed a demolition permit for the site of a new 23-story, 182-unit student housing development proposed in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Tampa near downtown. The permit is for the demolition of an existing bank on the site. Located across the street from the University of Tampa, the building will rise to 260 feet and will include ground level retail space. The plans call for a 3,000 square feet drive-thru space for the bank on the ground level.
