Demolition to Begin on 1.1 Million SF Mass. General Hospital Expansion Project
A demolition permit valued at $1,745,000 has been issued to for 24 Parkman Street and 18 Blossom Street, kicking off the first phase of development at the Massachusetts General Hospital. Plans call for an expansion project at the hospital yielding square feet of mixed-use medical and research floorspace. The development will feature 450 single-bed rooms housed in a pair of 12-story connected towers.
